I made this Prezi presentation for my (hypothetical) 1st-3rd grade new class. It is mostly intended for my students to get to know me before we start the school year. I also gave a short preview on how my teaching strategies and possible resources and field trips. I want to form a foundation of mutual respect and understanding in my classroom, so its important to me that my students have some background on who I am. Maybe on the first day my students can make their own 'get to know me' projects.
I chose Prezi because it is a presentation software that I was unfamiliar with and I wanted to learn how to use platforms that are new to me. It was tricky at first to navigate, but I liked how much freedom I had with formatting.
